Topics for the next study group meetings.
I thought for a change this week we could post a sentense or paragraph from one of the chapters we have read on the blog a few days before we meet and give each other the chance to reflect upon it. We could then pick up our conversation there with one of them when we meet.
If you are in Group A, please post by Friday.
Here is mine, which is from the chapter on 'What Is Your Over-Riding Interest' from The Awakening of Intelligence:
"[I]f you really want to find out if there is such a thing as God, something that cannot possibly be put into words, something which is unnameable, if that really is the major interest in your life, then that very interest does bring about order." (p302)
I'm interested in what links the two, having a major interest and order.

From the chapter "The art of Seeing". "To bring about a deep revolution is only possible when you know how to look"(p188). There were a couple of points which interested me and maybe it relates to your question Robert about the unconscious hyjacking the conscious.. I understand the point that to see with totality and no barriers one must have a very quiet mind. However to make all fragments sensitive at the same time on all a same level, making the total mind sensitive, how can just love bring this about? I am really into that thought. That by just listening and seeing with everything I have breaks the conflict struggle. But is it possible that we use some will in this process and possibly go into our unconsciousness space to drop our fragments so love can shine through the conscious..
